The Road To Chicago!

Here is the word!

I, Charles White, am officially registered for the Chicago Marathon!

I paid the $110 for the registration.

I bought a ChampionChip for the race. It will be a momento and a souvenitr of the trip, plus I can use it here for some races!

I bought the "Commemorative Edition" of the Chicago Tribune for that weekend.

I also purchased one seat at the buffet the night before!

I am on the way!

Cool! You went all the way and got the whole package.

Maddy's been telling me about who all are registered and I'm thinking about it too.

I am from Aurora outside Chicago. You are going to have a great time. Take lots of pics and do a detailed race report!

Cool! Don't forget the post-race party either. Or the architectural river tour the day before, Or the trip up the Sears Tower. Or the jaunt down the Magnificent Mile, with a stop in Nikesville. Or the deep dish pizza the day before. Or the post-race recovery at the many bars of downtown that evening (or lunchtime, you'll be through by then). Or a trip to the pier. Shall I go on? (Oddly, they don't sell any souvenirs of Ms. Brown's cow anymore, only stuff about Al Capone and all those gangsters.)
